Answers In Genesis is an organization that we support. They promote a literal six day creation week and provide an enormous amount of scientific and educational support for the historical accuracy of the Bible. They produce literature and media on a wide range of subjects including Noah's ark, carbon dating, evolution, natural selection, astronomy, biology, geology, fossils, stem cell research, astrophysics, etc.
This book is VERY special to us. Jonathon was taking a class on biology with Dr. Georgia Purdom when we found out that Eden Lanay was a very high risk baby for chromosomal issues. Over the past two years, Georgia has become a friend of ours.
We are so honoured to have been a small part of the chapter Georgia wrote in this latest Answers Book. The chapter is titled "What about Eugenics and Planned Parenthood?" Eugenics is the idea of creating a superior race. The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was a supporter of decreasing and eliminating the "inferior" population through birth control (including sterilization and abortion). She stated, "The most merciful thing a large family can do to one of its infant members is to kill it."
Thank you Georgia for including Eden's story in the book. May it help to influence people that life, ALL LIFE IS PRECIOUS, no matter how short or impaired that life may be.
