Difficult Questions

This blog is meant to document our journey with little Eden from the day we found out she was given to us by God. You won't see posts full of "Christian-eeze" lingo or tons of verse quotes. But make no mistake about it, Tina and are are followers of Jesus Christ and draw our strength from Him.

Over the next day or two, I plan to post a few 'longer than normal' entries to try and answer some of the difficult questions that we all struggle with (Why does God allow this, how can you be strong, don't you hate God, etc). Some of these posts may sound Christian-eeze, but know that they are simply posts from my heart.

More to come. - Papa John

I listened to these songs by Sherri Youngward (www.sherriyoungward.com) on my rainy walk to the office this morning, and thought and prayed for you:

His Eyes Never Close

When your race is reduced to a crawl
And your hands are weak from holding on
Keep your eyes fixed straight ahead
To the one who walked this way before you

Child stop weeping
God already knows
Even while you are sleeping
His eyes never close

Though the clouds may hide
The stars at night
Still I know, they haven’t lost their shine
Though the rains will come
So will the sun, God’s faithfulness
Is sure as the dawn

Child stop weeping
God already knows
Even while you are sleeping
His eyes never close

So close your eyes
And rest a while
Don’t be afraid
Jesus has walked this way
Before you

Child stop weeping
God already knows
Even while you are sleeping
His eyes never close.....

Peace

Peace, be still
Lay all your worries down
Be still, oh my soul
For our God, is in control

And if God is for us
Then whom shall I fear
And our God is for us
So lay down, be still
He is God
Hallelujah, or God has overcome
Hallelujah, our Lord, Jesus Christ has won....

May you experience His peace that passes all understanding as you fix your mind and heart and questions to Him.
